Multiphonics based on harmonics

Multiphonics can be created from two or more adjacent notes from the same harmonic series through the careful control of air speed and angle. Each combination of notes has its own embouchure position and can take time to master. Generally speaking, the higher the pitches or the bigger the range of pitches required, the louder the multiphonic will sound. The available pitches may vary slightly according to the instrument used and the player.
